MEET THE TEAM
Annmarie Hylton
Annmarie Hylton has always enjoyed creating things and using all her abilities to bring people together. When she started her marketing career, she specialized in events and planned them from concept to complete execution. Her career then blossomed into digital marketing, where she began leading the development of websites, digital marketing products, and content. Annmarie has over 15 years of marketing experience and has worked with individuals and large organizations such as The MIND Institute, United Business Media, Qualcomm, and The American Red Cross. During her university years, she enjoyed learning about marketing communications and art and has a degree in public relations focused on journalism.
The journey to creating Project Good Work started in 2013. After working on a passion project, our founder Annmarie Hylton realized it was time to shift in her marketing career because she strongly desired to work on human-centric projects focused on problematic societal issues. To test her new career theory, she started working at a small nonprofit association focused on uplifting a marginalized population in the United States and discovered it was her calling.
After working on various special projects during her side-hustle time, she decided to take it a step further, quit her regular day job, and started Project Good Work in 2019.
Annmarie’s drive to build Project Good Work comes from a love of design, learning, and many relatable personal experiences to some of the world’s societal issues as someone born outside of the United States.
Today Annmarie leads Project Good Work as the Head Marketing Strategist and Content Developer working with individuals and organizations who want to launch social impact projects, charities, and change-making initiatives. The marketing group works to develop branding, marketing strategy, and content to connect clients with the people who believe what they believe so that their project and business can thrive.
When not behind a computer, Annmarie is usually on the beach enjoying the water and sunshine with her family in beautiful Southern California.
